Savio House

Our parish in Bollington is served by the Salesians who also run Savio House – a retreat centre for groups of young people and adults who want to enjoy some time of reflection away from the busyness of everyday life.

The retreat experience allows young people to develop the confidence to be themselves, understand their gifts and the meaning of faith in their lives. The gentle, relaxed and fun atmosphere provides the backdrop to renew friendships, strengthen self-esteem and help young people meet life with more resilience, so that they can build a better world.

Set in the stunning Cheshire countryside near Macclesfield and run by the Salesian community and young volunteers, Savio House offers fully-catered residential facilities in the Coach House and Mews. There are also self-catering facilities available for private hire in the Barn.  If you would like more information please email or telephone 01625 573256

Savio House Mission

The Savio House community celebrates God’s presence in all people – particularly the young.
Enlivened by the spirit and vision of Don Bosco, we invite all to share in our experience of Christian living in the Salesian tradition. Our aim is to journey alongside others towards a deeper awareness of God’s love.

Supporting Savio House

Savio House achieves its important mission through the generosity of its donors and supporters. In recent months with increasing costs for everyday items the team at Savio are asking supporters to buy something from their newly created Amazon wishlist.  The wishlist is everyday items the team need or items that need to be upgraded or replaced.

Giving has never been so easy.  Simply click on the icon below, select an item you wish to purchase for the Savio team, proceed to the checkout to pay in the normal way and your generous gift will be delivered directly to Savio House.

Thank you for your support.
