I have attached a prayer leaflet that takes individuals or families through the shape of the Sunday Eucharist in a friendly and informal pattern for use at home. It will work with individuals, couples and families with a simple vocabulary available to all.
It is designed to be given out as a hand out to pupils and to parishioners who may have to vacate schools or churches for the foreseeable future. Families may need multiple copies.
Please let people know where this resource is found.
I see that this enforced absence from churches and schools is both a problem and an opportunity to encourage people to pray at home, to build their confidence in praying out loud together and to deepen the awareness of God as present in their home all the time.
Please share this leaflet with friends and family and those who do not have access to the web. Thank you.

'Friends, in an effort to continue the practice of our faith in these trying times, when many parishes have closed due to restrictions around the coronavirus, we invite you to join us online for daily Mass from Bishop Barron's chapel, celebrated either by Bishop Barron himself or by Fr. Steve Grunow, CEO of Word on Fire.'

There is a superb application called 'Universalis' which has daily mass, morning/midday/evening prayer, Lectio Divina, the rosary and so much more on it. Once downloaded, it does not require the Internet to be used. As we are unable to attend Mass now, some may find it very useful. If you access the webpage you can have a free trial, before purchasing.
During these times when we cannot attend mass it is possible to make an act of spiritual communion instead. This prayer is often prayed at the end of the online masses. You might like to print it out of have it ready to say if you are watching an online mass.
